Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had some positives like a retro-mini refrigerator and microwave in the room, but there were issues regarding unattended mold or water, requiring the A/C to be adjusted higher. On the bright side, the room was very clean and dust-free, which was crucial as my Dad is currently in the ICU awaiting a heart transplant.
I found the hotel to be a mixed bag. The rooms were nice and well accommodated to me, clean and comfortable for the price, but they were also musty, like a damp attic with no ventilation, making it necessary to crank up the A/C much higher. The service was initially a bit of a struggle with some confusion at check-in but turned super nice and helpful overall. The location was exceptional for grocery stores, NRG stadium, and other necessities, but it could have been improved with a better sack lunch breakfast. The dining experiences ranged from excellent and yummy to not worth eating, offering a typical hotel breakfast. The facilities were adequate but could be upgraded for better value.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet, which was so important to me given my current situation with my dad in the ICU. The service was top-notch, stress-free, and the staff went above and beyond to make my check-in and check-out easy. The location was perfect for my needs, being close to the Medical Center and other attractions. The dining options were good, with a variety of choices available. Overall, a great experience with a few minor drawbacks.
